Eligibility:

Teaching Tekkers are running camps in association with clubs across Leinster. Coaching camps are open to Boys and Girls between the ages of 5 and 14 years of age.

Insurance:

All coaching camps venues will be covered by Public Liability Insurance.

Medical Consent:

The camps are staffed by approved coaches appointed by the host venue who will implement the highest safety measures.

Teaching Tekkers will not be held responsible for damages, injuries or loss of possessions. We strongly recommend that all valuables be left at home. At all camps, participants may be asked to assume the position of goalkeeper or play with participants of a different age. The parent / guardian of any child who does not wish their child to assume this position or play with children of a different age must make it known at the time of booking. In the absence of such notifcation it shall be deemed that the parent / guardian has consented to their child assuming a goalkeeping position or to playing with children of a different age if requested to do so by a coach.

Venue:

The venue for all camps will be as per advertisement.

Responsibility:

The head coach is responsible for all activities during the soccer week at the centre. The Head Coach in charge is responsible for all coaching activities during soccer week at the centre.

Conduct:

Participants must follow the instructions of the coaching staff in charge. Misbehaviour may result in the participant being suspended from the coaching camp and the fee will not be refunded.In the interest of safety, participants are not permitted to leave the coaching camp during the coaching camp hours without the written consent of a parent/ guardian.

Lost or stolen items:

Teaching Tekkers or the host club is not responsible for any items lost or stolen during the course of the coaching camp.

Weather:

All Teaching Tekkers coaching camps shall not be held accountable should the soccer activities be suspended or cancelled due to bad weather. In cases where the weather is deemed bad enough for the coaching activities to be suspended the coaching staff will be available to supervise alternative indoor activities, only if the host club or venue can provide such an indoor facility. In the event of an indoor facility not being available, coaching will be suspended if bad weather conditions persist.The coaches will contact the parent or guardian to advise them should the suspension of coaching activities become necessary. Parents/ guardians will be informed immediately by the Head Coach of the suspension of the coaching camp. The coaching staff will of course supervise all children until they have been collected.If due to bad weather and the camp is cancelled in its entirety payment will be refunded less €10 per day.

Cancellations:

No refunds will be entertained for any cancellation that is made within 14 working days of the first day of the camps.

Photographs:

Teaching Tekkers may use photographs of participants for future promotion of coaching camps.
